Reki
Reiki is an ancient form of healing using the Universal Life Force Energy. This energy enters through the crown chakra, travels down the heart chakra and then back up the shoulders, down the arms and out of the hands of the Practitioner as drawn by the client. It is used worldwide and is currently being used in some hospitals in the United States as a viable healing companion. Reiki is a very non-invasive technique that works on the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical aspects of illness and disease. The client may remain fully clothed during the treatment process. Reiki, simply put, is using the power of unconditional love to facilitate healing and wellness.
The Reiki treatment hand positions correspond with the body’s endocrine glandular system and the seven main chakras. The endocrine system regulates hormone balance and metabolism. On an energetic level, the endocrine glands correspond to the seven main chakras, or energy centers.

Reiki is far less physical than similar treatments, and depends on the relationship formed between the giver and the receiver – the practitioner channels their own Reiki into your body, by laying their hands on you, or just near you. You may feel heat between you and their hands. It can be a very powerful experience.
Reiki affects each person differently. It is generally recognised as being relaxing, and can help with physical problems too, helping to relieve muscular aches and pains. It is also thought to boost the immune system, and relieve even chronic, long term conditions, as it works with the body to help it heal itself.
