Alex qualified as a Physiotherapist from Salford University in 2016, having previously trained as a Graduate Sports Therapist in 2011. He began working at Bury Football Club, progressing to Head of Academy Sports Medicine and Science in 2013, before moving to gain experience working in a private practice in Cheshire in 2016.
Joining the team at 10Bridge in April 2017, Alex combines his work here, with the GB Tae-Kwon-Do Team at their National Training Centre in Manchester, and at Liverpool FC’s Academy, providing physiotherapy for their athletes at their training bases, and at International and World Tournaments.
With his experience working in a variety of elite and non-elite sports, Alex specialises in treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries, and has keen interests around the ‘Athletic Hip and Groin’ and ‘Movement Dysfunction'.
Alex is a physiotherapist focused on treating patients using exercise and muscle re-training techniques, and has a keen interest in biomechanics and Strength and Conditioning. He also trained in treating patients using acupuncture and dry-needling techniques, in order to help relieve pain and muscle tension.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys football, playing as a goalkeeper for a local side, and keeps himself fit and healthy by regularly training in the gym and running.
